BLE Scanner & Tracker Detector is a Bluetooth utility app that scans for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Classic Bluetooth devices, helps you locate devices using signal strength, and detects hidden Bluetooth trackers (such as AirTags and SmartTags) for personal safety. This app is designed to protect your privacy, not compromise it.
This app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. All Bluetooth scanning and device detection happens entirely on your device.

The only exception is when you voluntarily contact us via email for support or feedback. In that case, we use your email address and message solely to respond to your inquiry.
What data is accessed: This app accesses information broadcast by nearby Bluetooth devices, including device names, Bluetooth addresses (MAC), signal strength (RSSI), device type classifications, and BLE advertising data.
How and when it is collected: This data is accessed only when you explicitly initiate a scan by tapping the Scan button. The app does not perform any automatic, scheduled, or background scanning in this version.
Purpose: This information is used solely to display a list of nearby Bluetooth devices, help you locate devices using signal strength, and detect potential hidden Bluetooth trackers for your personal safety.
Data storage: All scanned device data is held temporarily in device memory while the app is active. No scan results are stored persistently. Once you close the app, all scan data is discarded.
Data sharing: Bluetooth scan data is processed entirely on your device. It is not transmitted to our servers, shared with third parties, or used for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than displaying results to you.
MAC address handling: Bluetooth MAC addresses are partially redacted in the user interface (displayed as XX:XX:XX:XX:34:AB). Full MAC addresses are held in temporary memory only for the purpose of identifying unique devices during a scan session.
The Tracker Detector feature scans for known Bluetooth tracker advertising patterns (such as Apple AirTag, Samsung SmartTag, Tile, Chipolo, and Google Find My compatible devices) to help you identify unknown trackers that may be near you.
This feature is designed as a personal safety tool to detect trackers placed on or near you without your consent. This app does not enable tracking of other people and is not stalkerware.
This app is not affiliated with Apple, Samsung, Tile, Chipolo, Google, or any device manufacturer.

This app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings under Google > Ads.
Advertisements are never displayed on the Tracker Detector safety screen.
This app offers optional premium features through in-app purchases managed by Google Play Billing and RevenueCat. Purchase history is managed by Google Play and is not stored or accessed by us beyond what is necessary to unlock premium features on your device.

This may include your device model, operating system version, app configuration at the time of the crash, and timestamps. This data is used solely to identify and fix bugs.
We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our services, provide services on our behalf, and assist us in analyzing app stability. These third parties may have access to anonymous technical information to perform tasks on our behalf but are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
We value the trust of our users and strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
This app is officially available only through the Google Play Store. Any other distribution channel is not official and is not maintained by the developer. This privacy policy is effective only for the distribution listed above.

This app does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
